CO2 separation membrane pilot plant

On October 16, 2017, KEPCO and Arstroma held a ceremony for the completion of a 1MW class carbon dioxide separation membrane pilot plant that can separate more than 90% of carbon dioxide emitted from thermal power plants.

Export to Philippines

Arstroma, which succeeded in developing and commercializing a technology for capturing carbon dioxide using a membrane separator for the first time in the world, signed a US$180 million export contract with the Philippines, turning on a green light in the global market.

Exporting manufacturing plant

Arstroma signed an export contract of US$36million with Zeal7Rays in the Philippines on August 3, 2017.

Joint R&D

On May 1, 2016, KEPCO Research Institute and Arstroma signed an agreement for the “development of next-generation CO2 separation membrane commercial technology” worth US$ 16 million and conducted joint R&D.
