EXPANDABLE MODULAR CCUS SYSTEM

Arstroma's CCUS system is modular. For large carbon dioxide emission plants, this can be done by stacking unit modules.
Modules can be attached horizontally or vertically, regardless of the layout of the installation site. Installation time is greatly reduced. Base modules can be mounted at any time as many as they are manufactured, and can be mounted and expanded during operation.

POLYMER MEMBRANE

Arstroma secured the performance of permeability 1153 GPU and selectivity 10 of the polymer-specific membrane through laboratory analysis and pilot plant operation.


Arstrom's compact membrane modules have a membrane density of 400 m2/m3.

MODULAR SYSTEM

One of the best advantages of Arstroma's system is that combination of basic modules is used, so there is no need for complex customization. The normal operation of the system is possible even during maintenance/inspection

TEST BED IN OPERATION

Arstroma built a 1MW test bed installed in the Dangjin thermal power plant in 2017 and is currently operating it for more than 1,750 hours. Through practical operation, new technologies and data were secured and customized technology packages were provided.

CONVENTIONAL SYSTEM

Conventional membrane separators currently known have a microstructure such as a thin film or hollow fiber membrane, which makes it difficult and expensive to use in harsh environments (such as exhaust gas from power plants).

ARSTROMA'S SOLUTION

Arstroma's membrane separation systems are advantageous for practicality for industrialization because sophisticated and delicate devices are not required. It is chemically and physically durable and has heat resistance, so it can be used semi-permanently.
